Lol. I read the rioting story and wondered the same thing!!! I was like, “Ok…some popular soccer team lost.” Failed to mention!!!! Imagine WWII told like that. Yep, a world war is going on…not gonna say how it started.

The fact that I just watched that seemingly drunken ramble all the way to its clumsy end is a testament to how much I like this cheerio young gal.

I'll attempt to “NOT” be simultaneously creepy as well as lost within the masses of online commentary. But from the deepest part of my soul, I must finally relieve the weight from my shoulders and confess that I am deeply, deeply in love with you — dearest Alison Rosen. And the way this true love occurred is the way I think we all wish such a thing can happen in life. Why of course to fall in love with a person online and across media airwaves from the exact opposite coast of the same continent! How uncomfortable, embarrassing and just plain nutty. But on a more serious note, what I mean in this otherwise cliché notion of love, is that I quite simply fell in love with the mind and thoughts and humor of Alison Rosen. And soon enough afterward, your voice captured me as well. Yes, the tone. Packaged together, these qualities of such a wonderful and amazing woman became my mental picture of beauty. You know, that impossible watermark we silly humans sometimes set up in place as a template to judge all the potential lovers of which we choose to date in the future. My personal experience of falling in love with you Alison is — in my opinion —harmless, respectable, innocent and certainly immature. But what a wonderful pain in the chest it turns out to be. A crush like I hadn't felt in years. Possibly ever. And here's the punchline. The plot twist if you will. The exclamation point of it all. At the point when my slow-motion-emotional-avalanche came tumbling down into the boyish pile of feelings I now reveal to the cruel world as my unconditional true love for all that is Alison Rosen, I just saw a photograph of you tonight for the first time in my existence. Sure it sounds bizarre. Heck, even more embarrassing than the previous ranting of love and crushing. But tonight, I decided to finally ask Google to show me just what this wonderful Alison Rosen looks like in the flesh. And when the images came rolling in, the weight of my Alison Rosen crush took on the mass of Mount Everest. “Dear God of everything that is good in this world!” I exclaimed. Alison Rosen, you are so purely beautiful. And it blew my mind that a face could even exist to match the image that my imagination has built up over the course of numerous, numerous weeks of only hearing you through the audio buzzing of my iPod. Now certainly convinced [Alison] that you are the greatest woman on Earth, at minimum I merely want you to know that you make me smile each and every day. Just as you equally help me traverse difficult and stressful times while trapped in my car. Seriously, just know that you have touched another person out there in the world. And you are highly appreciated in doing so and just for existing really. Experiences like this help dreamers to keep on dreaming. You know? In closing, I listen to the Adam Carolla show everyday on the long ride home from work. Of course when you first joined the show, I had no idea who you were or what you did or anything for that matter. And again, I had never seen a photograph of you. Nothing. Nothing at all. Strangely, I suddenly began looking forward each day to my otherwise Hellish afternoon in a two-hour-long Atlanta, Georgia rush hour commute. What was once torture upon every fabric of my being — mentally, physically and spiritually —has honestly become (as pathetic and sad as it may sound) my happy time with the soothing voice of Alison Rosen. Through you, all the honking horns, flicking birdie fingers, smog fumes and general struggle, disappears into an invisible wash of hypnotic bliss. All the while, your witty and at times even vulnerable persona guides me gently home through what previously felt like a daily war zone. Bless you dear. And by all means, don't go changing. SIncerely, your biggest admirer, Jason.

Mission accomplished. That wasn't creepy at all.

Why is it with crazy people and no paragraph breaks anyway?

Love for a girl you've never met?  Writing a mini-novel declaration of love to said woman?  Dude, get a grip on reality and get laid by someone who is in your range.  Granted, Alison is a K-list celeb at best, but you're probably scaring the woman – listen to her docile tones on the pod and be content…. and try to get laid (I imagine for the 1st time).  Plus, isn't she like 20 years your senior?

  19. Jason Floyd Hatcher August 11, 2011 at 4:06 am #

Maurice, I tell you. It's hard you know. The little voices in my head just kept saying “No Breaks, No Breaks, No Breaks.”

As to the comment below this one – yikes.  I was just letting you know that looking up at the ceiling every few seconds doesn’t showcase your eyes as much as you think it does.  Lay off a lil’ on the “my eyes are so pretty” routine and focus on the facts… you’re smarter than that.  Good luck getting that restaining order on creepy Jason.

when your computer dimmed….your skin looked much better….not saying your skin looks bad,  its just that everyones skin looks bad in bright flourescent computer light.  your natural beauty was much more apparent in the soft light of your dimmed computer….i don't know…just an observation, but i bet if you'd take a look you'll agree.  alright, bye. cheerio.
