Some recent pictures of me with my famous celebrity boyfriends

First of all I want to say that I wrote a long blog post, I mean it was looooooooong, about my various feelings about this and that but mostly about my  recent decision to no longer read stuff about myself on the internet because it’s just getting inside my head and doing a fucked up kind of dance. What kind of fucked up dance, you are wondering? It’s sort of a cross between the sprinkler and the running man but with less rhythm and more self doubt. Also I suppose there might have been some anger in the blog post. But then I decided not to post it because feelings are so grody!

Anyway, care to see some photos of me with my famous celebrity boyfriends? (note: no actual boyfriends in these photos)

Here I am with my boyfriend Jon Lovitz. We broke up right after the photo was taken.

Here I am with my boyfriends Doug Benson and Bill Burr and also my hairtenna. You can see from the expression on their faces that things were already tense.

Here I am with my boyfriends Bald Bryan, Doug Benson and Bill Burr. This is when we’d already broken up but were pretending to be together for the children. I was opposed to it. “My heart is not an actor!” I announced, while doing yoga. “You go ahead and cheapen yourself with this performance,” I spat, “It wouldn’t be the first time!” My words dripped with sarcasm and beef jerky (I was hungry). Then they offered me a large sum of money to go along with it so I said okay.

Some things to click? Okay!

Watch the Ustream video of The Adam Carolla live podcast taping at Lovitz Comedy Club (Lovitz was the guest)

And listen to the Adam Carolla Podcast!

And listen to Bald Bryan, Bill Burr and me on the 4/15 episode of Doug Benson‘s Doug Loves Movies podcast

You’re awesome. I want to hang out soon…I’m hoping to visit LA ASAP. And yes, don’t read stuff about yourself on the internet. I learned that recently too. Peace out.

Definitely don’t read the crap on the net! Stay away! I read it for you and I can tell you its all nonsense. Bitter losers on the Ace comments board, boring tech nerds on Twitter, troglodytes in all shapes and sizes. They have nothing to offer. You on the other hand have beauty, humor, intelligence and success that the aforementioned ass clowns will never know.

Wow, I know this wasn’t merely a fanciful diatribe due to the use of italics to convey the proper amount of vitriol and spite. Also, jerky.

“My heart is not an actor” sounds like an awesome indie rock song. And by awesome I mean I wouldn’t listen to it but I know people who would. And by I know people who would I mean I know of people who would, in theory. I call it plebeian string theory.

    Yeah. eye hart Alison!

By the way, the chemistry on the Adam Carolla Show has come a long way since you first started. As a long time listener to the Aceman, I have to say I honestly look forward to hearing your input and witticisms more than anybody else on the show, Carolla included. Keep up the great work, you’re a breath of fresh air in a world gone musky. I hope you’re happy ‘cuz used up all my encouragement for the year, pft. (no pressure)

The camera is your friend. What does this mean? I knew you would ask that. Oh…what? You are STILL waiting for the explanation? Now you know how we feel when you promise excerpts from your compendium of impetuous behavior.

You’re no longer reading things about yourself on the internet!?!? sad face. I had so many mean things to say anonymously. Now how am I supposed to vacuously inflate my my ego? If I had a properly equipped Delorean, I could go back in time and convince my parents to love me and my peers to accept me, but I don’t, Alison. I don’t. Damn you!

You are some fairly sweet action, but you may want to consider expanding the live appearance wardrobe. It works for Mr. Cordoba, but a hot Hebrew like yourself should look into more options. Might I suggest a acid-warsh denim pantsuit…in the vein of Devo. Jewvo. Sweet action.

Alison, I wish there was a way to “internet punch” people cuz I would do it on your behalf. Though if the “internet punch” existed, then the people that talk shit might think twice. These are the people that if they were face to face with you in public would say flattering things, but when hidden behind their keyboard they suddenly have balls since they know nobody is gonna track them down to give them the beating they deserve. & of course they get their rocks off by trying to hurt people with words cuz they are so frustrated with their own life that they need to try to bring others down to their level of misery.

Then there is the type of person who likes to think they can do your job better than you can, or can run ACE’s show better than anyone else. They always let you know what is wrong with the show because it makes them feel smart or relevant. Some people even have fair criticism sometimes, but then deliver it with negativity, which ruins it.

Also with internet comments, talk about extremes. I’m sure you see this. One comment you get utterly trashed by somebody, & then you get a few that just wanna put their lips on your ass (figuratively, but probably a few literally as well) & say you are perfect. Maybe you just wanna hear some fair comments? I could throw out an “Alison looks semi boneable today”. Or “Alison did OK today, a perfect 7/10”. I don’t think you are gonna get much of that, & the last place you would get it is the Carolla boards. Even BB’s tumor gets dissed on those boards, nobody is safe. Though your site seems pretty safe, & from the couple “new BF” shows I checked out it seems like you do have some really good fans. I think most of the morons don’t have the energy left to make their way over here to harass you.

Yet every now & then on the ACE boards I’ll drop in a nice comment for you on days where people are a little more critical than usual, just to make sure you get at least a little love in a sea of complaining. & I don’t really do it for you, but rather to show the negative people that not everybody is just like them, to show that it is possible to comment on somebody without blowing a wad of negativity out with it.

I’ve been listening to ACE’s podcast daily for nearly 2 years now, it is in my ear every day as I walk my dog or try to get to sleep. Before you came on the show I never heard of you, though after a couple of your tryout appearances you were my clear newsgirl favorite, & clearly they felt the same way. Now some months later you’ve interested me enough to follow your blogs & videos.
You are different than any other personality I know, unique. & that is refreshing. You come across as very real. NOT perfect, but I like that. You are somehow outgoing yet vulnerable & introspective. Light & dark, ying & yang, all rolled into one entity.

& I can’t tell you how many times I’ve also exhausted my energy into writing a post or email when maybe my feelings are a bit unbalanced, intending to publish it. But then it feels like I spewed whatever junk I had building up in me once I’m done writing (be in my refractory period as ACE would say), then… DELETE! I chalk it up as me getting my feelings out without subjecting others to my BS. Who knows if I’ll even post this comment! Just sayin’, I understand.

In fact, just in what you said above, I don’t think you need to say more than that. People can be idiots, say hurtful things, & a few of those bullets just might find the chinks in your armor. The internet is such an amazing tool, yet some tards treat it like a red headed stepchild. A place to litter their filth. A place to make themselves feel better by putting others down that they are jealous of. Hopefully you don’t put much more stock into it than that. These morons will get back at them the negative karma they are putting out there. Trust me.

Bottom line, you are doing good Miss Rosen! I’ve seen how you’ve evolved through the course of the show, had some rough times I’m sure just getting adjusted to that crazy world, & you keep coming back while getting better & better. I can’t think of many women who could do what you do & still be funny & interesting on top of it. In my eyes you do make the show better, I don’t even miss T anymore!

Then the fact that you let people into your life via blogs & video’s is a really nice plus. Makes me feel more connected to the voice I hear every day, I care about what you are up to. So I guess your ustream show is quite aptly named, you do make people feel like they are your new BF!
& on top of all this, I guess you aren’t bad looking either… you are quite the package, Rosen! 🙂

I wouldn’t of taken the time out of my day to write this if you weren’t. You are a part of our lives most days of the week & I look forward to it & appreciate it. Yes, you are a glimmer of light & realness in a world usually pretty full of shitty stuff (& other cheesy shit like that). I think I can also say this on behalf of many others who feel the same. I hope that one thought out, positive comment has enough power to erase 100 negative ones.
