I’m packing to go back to NYC and it’s roughly somewhere between three and four hundred degrees in my parents’ house. My shoes are getting scrambled and my clothes are lightly sauteed, which is how I like them.

During last night’s live show, which was super duper awesome, my mom and dad and Tobey and I were on screen and my dad (I think it was my dad?) made a comment about how we looked like a Christmas card and so I suggested we all pose. Guess Tobey had better things to do? He’s a diva, that one. Anyway, Ted made this card which is pretty great. Thought you might enjoy it.
Tonight’s Ustream show will be a holiday spectacular featuring assorted family members, Christmas trivia, a brief phone run-down with Dustin about the ugly sweater party, a glimpse of the Rosen family tree (the xmas tree, not the family tree, though I’m open to getting genealogical on your asses) and surprises out the wazoo. Only some kind of fool would miss out on this. RSVP here, won’t you?

You guys, the super awesome Joe just set the bar extremely high by making this adorable video which had me laughing out loud. Out loud, I say!
As you all know, there was a disastrous attempt to make Christmas mice cookies. Well I’m now in California, where the air is thankfully not thick with the shame of floppy cookies, and so I’m thinking I’ll attempt the starchy rodents once more for a party I’m attending on Sunday.
At least, that’s what I was thinking and then I started poking around the internet looking for a good recipe and shit howdy, the world of Christmas mice is complicated and multilayered and it’s possible I’ve stumbled on some kind of secret society. I mean, first of all, there’s a fundamental divide in the world of Christmas mice because there are the cookie mice but then there are these candy-cookie-mice things.
They’re made with a chocolate dipped cherry and a chocolate kiss. Should I go this route?
