    Here's a couple comments:

They caught the llamas by lassoing them.

83 was a bit young for Leonard Nimoy to die compared to the average lifespan provided by our currently available technology. (Scientists, please cure aging soon!) The reason he died a bit young was due to breathing problems caused by past smoking. (By a bit young, I'm including the fact that he was well off and would therefore live longer than someone who lived in a housing project, etc.)

A *lot* of people get injured from falling so Alison should start to double knot her shoelaces. For example, I know someone who had to get knee surgery due to a fall. Personally, for short walks outside the house, I just put on some slippers.

Finally, I notice that while we often hear about Wendy in the podcasts, we never hear from her. You should give her a little jingle such as “That was Wendy's corner. Yes it was. Arf.” The arf could be a real Wendy bark.

I just wanted to share my experience with the white/gold/blue/black dress. I first saw the picture on a Facebook post while I was at work, and the dress was very obviously white with gold lace trim. That same day, I happened across the same post while on my phone at home and NOW the dress appears blue with black trim. So far I'm the only person I know of who has seen it both ways and even having done that, it's still hard to believe this is a real illusion and not just someone on the internet fucking with us by have the image generate differently every time the page loads.

I also sensed that you felt awkward on the Thursday show after all of the hype of the Monday episode with Richard Pryor's widow, but I thought it was because I was feeling nervous for you, since I knew you must've been feeling pressure. The show was still good, so don't worry about that though. Feeling pressure is normal and it makes sense that you would. Daniel was absolutely correct that it's important for you to stick with being your natural silly self, because that is, after all, what made so many of us all want to be your new best friend in the first place.:)

Seconded that the Thurs show felt a bit “off”, though I couldn't put my finger on it it. Certainly didn't think “wow, Alison is really stinking this place up”.

And I just saw some tweeter go on a jag about how you shouldn't have Daniel on the show- I had my doubts at first, because of the obvious problems which could arrive in that sort of situation, but he's been very good. He's contributed nicely to the Thursday shows so far, and he provides a nice counter balance to your rosenating during the weekend shows.

    My 2 cents.

    Alison,
Your former employer would rant: ” that person's name is _____ and he/she claims to have never heard of (actor, movie, tv show with same name).”
Don't know if you've heard of this play, but just in case …

Yes, you certainly weren't stinking up the joint, just seemed to be holding back a bit.:)
As far as Daniel on the show goes, it's ridiculous that somebody wuld say that he doesn't belong on it. He's very good, keeps up with the banter and adds good insights. I wasn't nervous when I heard that he would be on regularly, because I liked his two earlier episodes on the show. He seems compassionate, kind and funny.

Alison loved the show, however the sound levels on the sound effects and music was a little high.

Alison – you should get Lisa May (formerly, now, of the Kevin and Bean KROQ morning show) in for an interview! @lisaxmay Her recent firing sounds like an awfully familiar story…
