At the risk of sounding like one of the douchebag Lost fans Gary hates for trying to explain things I'll weigh in with my two cents.
It wasn't purgatory. They weren't dead. It was just an island where fucked up shit happened. And they made no attempt to explain most of the stuff they'd made people wonder about for 5 freaking years. Pisses me off just thinking about it.
The show was a horrible investment of viewers time, and anyone who didn't watch it should consider themselves lucky.

i'm almost done listening to this one today and i got nothing to complain about. good episode all around. the only thing i can nit pick about is you read jmoe's from the same person every other episode it seems. b.slammin is the person's name. i've been listening for a year and few months and i swear i've heard alison say “b.slammin says…” at least 30 times. it's not like they're even that good half the time.
