ALISON: “I should have kids by now”. That’s an unkind judgment of yourself. Why assign society’s bullcrap to yourself when you’re bombarded with it everyday by outside forces? Don’t believe the hype, girl. Don’t “should” yourself. You are so lovely, funny and sweet and you are exactly where you “should” be: right here, right now. The present moment is the only truth.

4th of July is a hugely dangerous holiday. Drunk/buzzed people with fire and explosions = NUTS. Makes me nervous every year. I wish we could celebrate without the explosions.

I think it’s perfectly normal to be concerned about the health, safety and comfort of your pet. That doesn’t mean you treat him like a baby, it means you treat him like the beloved pet that he is. And it means you are a loving person who is responsible about her pet. These are good things! Also, dogs are like 3 year olds with too much sugar in their system. When they are puppies (0 to 1 1/2 yrs old or so) this is even more true (and sometimes even more MORE true for smallish sized dogs). Responsible dog owners usually know this and know they have to WATCH THE EFFING DOG lest scary hi-jinks ensue. It’s good to protect your pup. Keep doing it. 🙂

I vote for Alison being nicer to Alison!
