As you may remember, my sister gave my mom a card for her birthday and I felt she’d chosen an unfairly cute card which is totally the kind of thing she does. This is the card:

In other news, I seem to have fallen into whatever-you-want-to-call-it where unless I’m in motion I’m kind of depressed. This is a particularly undesirable place to be because what it means to me is that I’m not really okay with my thoughts and myself and my current everything. Could I be less specific and less articulate? I could, just you wait. See, I had meetings in LA yesterday and the day before because I’m very important and while to-and-fro-ing I felt like I was accomplishing stuff and doing what I should be doing and here we go and I’m on my way and I’m not stagnating and etc. But today I have less on the agenda so I feel blah, but actually what I feel is that I should be dealing with all the moving stuff I need to deal with, which I really don’t want to deal with. So I guess what I’m saying is it’s less about being in motion than about my not wanting to deal with moving. Also, I have a lot of articulate and thought provoking and philosophical things to say about myriad topics including moving, Marvin, door slamming, adulthood and other stuff so you should probably clear your schedule.
Consider my schedule cleared…
Alison, I commiserate with you. Right now I have a situation with several challenges similar to what you are dealing with and I too feel blah.
Are we supposed to vote for the cutest card? I’m sorta loving that baby koala!
I know. Once I saw the cards side by side I realized the koala one still might be cuter
Oh my! I’m so sorry Alison. Now I feel so shitty for tweeting you for a date last night. Once again my timing and judgement are off! If I could combine a card with the Koala and the puppy on the cover, I’d give it to you! Hope your move and other issues work out…Peace out sucka!

Also since Michael from Louisiana was banned to that Leper Colony that officially makes me the very first RosenFan. I remember that past controversy over “who” was actually the first….but I’m quit certain it was me regardless of Michael’s situation. I mean out of the thousands of fans you have now to be the very first is kinda of a cool title…I wear it proudly…throw my weight around…act like I’m the shit…YEAH!
I’m #2!! I’m #2!! (actually I think Joe McDonald is number one because he never left like Ted and I did for awhile, and Joe makes all those arty internet pictures that Alison loves so much and he’s a chat room moderator AND he does something else I’m forgetting about!)

Dude, I never said I was the favorite, I just said I was the first real RosenFan from a purely historical context. I just want to make sure Alison’s autobiographers get it right someday. And, I only left to concentrate on my second career…then I missed you guys and returned. You left to soil your wild oats…there’s a difference.
