T-shirt design contest & a note about today's show

Hey designers and people who are crafty. I want to make t-shirts so we can all profess our love for me however I don’t know what they should look like. I think we need a logo. What do you guys think? What do you want to wear?

I’m thinking something like “Have You Had Your Daily Alison?” somewhere and maybe alisonrosen.com somewhere else? Clearly when it comes to merchandise, I’m just a consumer. Anyway, if you can design a logo and it’s awesome, that logo will appear on a shirt and you will get a free shirt and I’ll interview you on The Daily Alison (if you want. no pressure if you prefer your anonymity). So do your best work and send it to alisonmrosen [at] gmail [dot] com with “t-shirt design” in the subject line.

As today is Father’s Day, my guest will be my dad! However real life has interceded and so the awesome interview won’t be going up until tonight. Today’s Daily Alison will be a Nightly Alison.

And happy Father’s Day to all dads and happy Father’s Day to all moms too. And all ducklings.

That's a great idea!! Can we make it a WET T-Shirt Design Contest?

I have a couple of ideas, but let me give it some more thought and I'll send you an email.

If I drew logos for The Daily Alison….

Well first, I would make the back of the shirt the focal point for my art work. The front of the shirt would be simple – across the chest it would say “www.alisonrosen.com” (I thought the new webpage was going to be http://www.thedailyalison.com? anyway). Also there would be a smaller version of the logo somewhere near this URL. Maybe immediately in front of it. On the back of the shirt, there would be a cartoon version of Alison wearing her super big sunglasses, and a shower cap, holding a ducky. Of course, the caption on this would be in a speaking bubble over her head, and it would say (as Mr. Michael Retherford suggeste), “Oh hey guys, I didn't see you there!” The logo itself would not be this whole picture. The logo would only be Alison with the big glasses. I should try to do something to try and draw his picture, but I don't even have MS Paint on my computer right now. *Sigh*

Oh hey guys… I also forgot to mention, that any shirt made should be a light shade of blue, in honor of Bobo! Bobo is the blouse that Alison used to wear every single time she made an appearance on television in the early years. I mean, EVERY TIME! Once week she was on Red Eye, and wore Bobo, then the next day she was on Diana Falzone's Pal Talk, and she wore Bobo, and the next time she flew to California to see her parents for a short vacation and she wore Bobo everyday in hot California sun for nearly 5 days. Bobo was kinda stinky maybe.

Lies. LIES! You are telling lies about Bobo/Starla (remember when the shirt
was briefly named Starla?) I do recall a back to back Red Eye/Paltalk Bobo
tour of duty however I never would have worn the shirt every day in CA
because I don't wear the shirt in real life. It's strictly a TV shirt.

You really really did like the name Starla… didn't you?

I think “Have You Had Your Daily Alison?” is perfect, but I want it on a coffee mug. For the t-shirt, I want, “I've Been Rosenated.” At least then the guys won't beat me up. OK, they'll still do that.
