perhaps you had to be there

But I thought it was funny in a 50s movie way. This morning I was half awake in the makeup chair and the makeup guy was putting makeup on my chest which is something I always want them to do because I’m pale and if anything I feel like I usually have to nudge them in that direction because they usually tell me “you’re fine, it matches.” But he, on his own, took note of my startling ass-whiteness and began rectifying. “I need you to open like this” he said, pulling my jacket open. I did and he really got in there and then after he said, “Sorry if I was overly familiar with you. It’s early.” I said it was okay (which it was). Then he said, “I assure you it was lost on me.”

    Allie,

That was either the worst pick up line I have ever heard or that guy was simply gay. Either way I would be more than happy to be your make up guy

Alison, I guess I can only speak for myself, but, a good portion of men love women who are light complected. It shows a sense of purity. YOu’re dark hair and your complexion have a very beautiful contrast. Most men see fair skin as being pure. Don’t be a sell-out and go to the salons. You’re an example of purity at it’s finest.

I would also like to add that early movie stars always had a fair complexion, Marilyn Monroe, Vivian Leigh. Who in my personal opinion was the most beautiful woman that ever lived. anyway don’t change a thing, you’re a very natural, beautiful woman.

    and that’s my gut feeling.

Alison, it seems as if you are spread too thin. “no pun intended”. well maybe a little. Anyhoo. I would like to volunteer myself as on of your assistants. I have plenty of references, I’m hard working, can work all shifts, just as long as I don’t have to pass a drug test. I’m available for an interview at all times. My number is 555-6969.

Let’s try this one more time.

If beauty and brains were a crescent wrench, I would twist her until she tightly fit around my loose nuts.

I don’t know if I can follow any of that, then again do I really want to, but your blog is the reason that I nominated you for the blogger choice awards. Sorry that the votes have spread like wildfire. I always look forward to your appearances on Red Eye, and I am sure tonight will be an interesting one with Ann Coulter. Butter your toast.

Excellent show last night Alison. I was glad to see you in studio. Something I had brought up in one of my earlier comments. Wow, I feel so special. You really were delightful and charming. I hope ya’ll continue to do the “bawdy language” segment. Anything to see you more often. Also, you have a terrific smile.
