Neal Brennan (Chappelle’s Show, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Inside Amy Schumer) returns to the show to talk about his ingenious new one man show 3 Mics, where he alternates between three microphones on stage, one designated for “one liners,” one for “emotional stuff” and one for “stand up.” We also talk about being the tenth of ten kids, battling depression and trying various treatments, growing up with an alcoholic father and the ensuing rage and chaos, going on a six day silent meditation retreat, his approach to directing commercials versus TV shows, being a self-diagnosed star fucker, feeling small, relationships and so much more.
