A few episodes ago we teased a particular Greg story and then didn’t get to it and you guys were none too pleased. Here, finally is Greg’s spiritual evacuation journey plus some news about Alison and Daniel (no, not THAT news), a Janae story that does not disappoint, sleeping with the lights on and more. We also did a round of Just Me Or Everyone and talked about an adoptable dog named Boogie.

Whew boy. I have thoughts. But first, I thought if people can have opposites I thought mine was Greg, but then came Jenee’. I realized it is about people who have very specific opinions. She wants Jenna to sing at her funeral? Is she not aware Jenna is a comedian? I just don’t get people with very specific demands and opinions.
Sam is like “are bucket hats really a thing?”
As a long time listener (from the FEWSNBM’d days) and the “original” Thursday “gang” – I can say in my mind it would EASILY be smoother to “jump on the Alison love boat” with the current incarnation of the Thursday gang (as much as I loved those boys and I did) there were FAR MORE inside jokes, secret show acronyms etc..if you missed more than one or two shows in a row, you had to really needed to catch up before listening to the current week or you’d spend 1/4 of the episode going huh – what are they laughing about etc… whereas I have had an employment related tsunami that’s kept me away for a couple of Mon/Thursday’s and I felt just fine about just jumping in at the most recent and binge listening backwards. So – timely question….
Second thought. Daniel’s “news” actually gave me a full blown anxiety attack – it is my MOST HORRIFIC and ever present fear (when previously mention EWSNBM’d situation happened to Alison, I almost couldn’t listen to the Thursday shows because they reminded me of what happened and would cause me to spin up an anxiety cloud). So I’m so glad you both are doing so fabulous. I’m am genuinely happy for both of you and Paris will be amazing.
I say you guys go to at least 2 shows a week! I also need a Greg story at least once a show.
