    I don’t know if he was alternatively speaking quietly and then normally or if he was leaning near and then far from the mic, but his volume kept going in and out. Made me a little bonkers. Gary, are you giving guests the G PATRICK SMITH WHAT FOR prior to the episodes? I think you need to crack the whip. Threaten them with old, lime flavored Skittles if they don’t keep their lips on the mic. Or something. I’m old and deaf, dang it.

    I know what you mean. Shame though, he was such a compelling guest (with an expansive vocabulary to boot) that I didn’t want to miss a thing!

    I enjoyed this episode. Alison was very pleasant and I enjoyed that she loved the songs.:)
