Long time listener first time poster – Congrats on the new cavalier puppy. That breed is awesome. My wife had a ruby colored female. She was the best.

Your puppy is so cute! I love this episode. I also feel that way at parties. I think everyone does at some point or another. I wanted to tell you too that I love the new free form of your Thursday show. I work full time and have 2 kids so my drive to and from work is my only real ‘me time’ during the day and I always save your show for the drive because I enjoy listening to you and Gary so much. Also, love you on Adam’s show too.

    1. How fucking adorable is that dog? Carrying the leaf around like that, that’s fucking ridiculous.

    2. If you really want to use ILY as a news sign off instead of ZIC, do it! Haven’t you been going on about how you don’t make enough snap decisions? It would have an ironically high amount of shock value.

    3. Florentine ep was really good.

Hi Alison/Gary. This is the first time I have commented, but I fell strongly about this and I hope Alison will see/read this. When she was talking about her arms, I honestly felt like it was me talking. I want her to know that she is not the only one who feels this way. Every.single.thing she said about her arm issue, I feel too. Every time I want to put a shirt on that shows a little bit of my arms that I am self-conscious of, I have horrible issues with it. BUT I also think “no one else in the world cares or is looking at the top part of your arms!”. This is totally in our heads and no one is going to think differently of us or like us less because we don’t have perfect arms. This is something that I have to try and remind myself of every day. Also, this may sound strange, but I feel like you will feel different after you have a baby. I had my son 2 years ago and I fell MUCH better about my body. Of course I still feel very self-conscious, but a lot less than I did before.
Anyways, I hope this helps you feel a little less alone in this strange body issue, because you are definitely not alone. Love the show!

I get a bit depressed before my birthday AND I hate my arms. As soon as the weather starts to get warmer, the dread begins. As soon as the weather starts to get cooler, I RE-FUCKING-JOICE.

OMG, Gary got pissy with Tay Tay about the sister question. That was GREAT!
