Why are you always so self-deprecating? Cheer up, Alison with one L. You’re awesome.

We are our own worst critics. Even if you ‘killed’ during a show, you might find yourself thinking, ‘what if..’ afterwards. It’s the sign of a perfectionist always trying to improve her craft. P.S. Thanks for the impromptu ARIYNBF. We loved you as always.

I have to say, i have never heard a show when you were below par; only shows where you didn’t get a chance to get a word in. your interplay with Adam is extraordinary.. you have a quick and sophisticated wit.

I can’t compliment enough, or convince my wife how good/pretty/talented she is when she feels the way you do. I think it’s a woman thing. I am so glad I picked male when I filled out the pre-birth questionnaire!

Don’t be so hard on yourself Alison. By the way, the hand gestures are quite cute. Keep them a wavin’. Love ya kid

I think right there, that was enough complimenting.
Btw, I was here first but didn’t want to look stalkerish so I figured I’d wait till Tony the multi-poster arrived.
All in good fun, this is just a jolly jab!

It’s healthy to feel unsure of yourself!
My mom always told me, “They day you stop feeling self conscious is the day you end up in jail for public nudity.”

You’ll fell better once you move into your new digs in Watts. 🙂

To be super honest, the live show with Fitzsimmons wasn’t your best night, though the episode was still great. It happens with everyone- Adam has had off nights, certainly some of the guests have (even the funny ones). It’s just one of those things.

Alison, I don’t think it’s all that bad to self-analyze or self-evaluate. You’re trying to improve your craft and all that jazz. You’re a very self-aware person and there’s nothing wrong with that. Do your best and let that be good enough. Don’t be overly-critical on yourself. I’ve seen you walk on water before but even God took a day off. = )

I forgot to add: Olive Juice you too, Alison. = )

Go get the fruit salad and the leash, because you are a Melon Collie. HA HA HA, HA HA, ha ha, ha…. ahem…
ANYWAY, You and BB add a TON to the show. Adam is faster then pretty much anyone and you guys bring a lot of “yes and”.. to the show. Plus the hair flip thing in the vlogs is quite charming!
Finally, a google search for “alison” with one L suggests you as number 2! I don’t know who alison krauss is, is she funny?

The whole vibe of the show was weird. All of the Lynette nonsense… geez, yes Adam, we know, any wife of yours would have to be a complete idiot, that’s a given. But I don’t see the payoff in getting a room full of people to hop on board that bandwagon. I can’t blame you for leaving the show feeling icky.

Just finished listening to that show. I thought it was fine. I’m surprised to hear your reaction. You didn’t interact much, but with two guys like Carolla and Fitzsimmons together, there’s not going to be much room for anyone else to jump in. And, once again, I liked that Ustream show. And I like the hand gestures.

  34. PlaysByEar April 11, 2011 at 9:37 pm #

Yeah… I listened to it this morning and don’t recall it or your part being particularly bad. Don’t equate how much you get to talk with how well you are performing. Some environments/guests/conversations lend well to your participation and some don’t. It’s a good skill to know when to lay off and know when to interject, which you seem to judge really well.
